the strawberry grazes her pink lips before she bites into it
she catches me staring at her
& her lips curl up in a smile
the wind blows her hair in front of my face & i can’t see anything
when i wake up
my head is in her lap
& she looks down at me & brushes hair out of my eyes
she’s laying next to me now
& her eyes are the biggest pools of light
our foreheads are touching & her warm breath caresses my cheek
she tastes like fresh strawberries & warm summer days
