Nothing Without Him(Echo of it All)
Echo lingers in
the uppercut caverns
In the walls- the little
crevasses
she’s wiggled her way into…
-song
Staying in the drop running down
a dripstone,
Stalactite trailing around
the ridges, rock,
wetly dripping
in the echo of it all
Drop falls in a puddle of its predecessors
-song
Plunged into ripples
And the sound travels back
To the next
In the echo of it all.
To the next,
echo
-Silence besides this.
There’s a life form living
in here, many breathing bodies,
But only one stood upright.
Syrian,
Wiccan,
locked in meditation
A cauldron of ‘er own stew
stirred up a potion of hope;
For salvation
She’s betrothed
Mary,
like his mother. He found love
in something familiar
perhaps so he didn’t have to try so hard granted,
Her lover was a busy guy;
He had better things to do
then entertain the damned girl.
He let her go
in the echo of it all…
She got caught up
in the rhythm of silent sound.
The perfect place to pry that mind,
and turn your senses inward

Thirty years in the hands of an echo
not once did she think to speak,
she thought to gain
Rid the pain of him, pain of knowing
he was right
he had to be-
She watched him rise
She washed his feet
when he need
She was his;
she was saved
In his arms
she was one…
of Twelve
who loved him
very dear.
And here she was
sat waiting to
meet his family:
A Holy Father, and his mother, just like her
Though she’s kept herself quiet,
It’s a silent kind of echo
She creates
A silent kind-
-Herself quiet
