The Spires Literary Journal and the MCLA English / Communications department regularly host talented and renowned writers from all over the world.

Readings and Open Mics are held throughout the year on and off campus, allowing for the greater literary community in North Adams to recite new work, perform, or otherwise engage with their art.

The journal's annual publication is celebrated with an end of the year book launch where you can pick up a copy and listen to each newly published writer share the work that has moved them throughout the year.
